I found a fun one! I used to dance to this all the time in the 90s – I used to blare it in my apartment that I shared with my aunt and we would clean, dance, cook… or just plain have fun!

Yes, it is Shrove Tuesday! I will not be making pancakes… (already did that on the weekend for my boy) however, I will be enjoying a Crêpe & you know what it will be made of… do not act surprised… I am not, lol!
It will be made of Nutella, baby! Why would it be anything else?
I am on my way as we speak to the shop – when I return – I will have a photo in hand & a belly full of that gooey goodness! Ahhh… cannot wait!
Tomorrow starts the sacrifice =)
To be accountable, I will share with you the following down below.
For those of you who know me, I am Christian – Lent is celebrated in the Catholic calendar… not so much for us – However, fasting is always a way to sacrifice your belly and desires in order to pursue a closer relationship with God… that is my goal and desire! So… with that being said, I am going to use the time allotted for Lent as an outline for my own fast…
For the first 21 days (this is considered the Daniel Fast):
- NO Meats
- NO Poultry
- NO Dairy (this includes cheese), no eggs
- NO Sweets
- NO Wine
- And this is killer for me… NO Coffee… :/ (this will be worse than not having sweets)
The remainder of the time – I will lay off the sweets and anything else God puts on my heart…
I pray and hope that who ever is celebrating Lent, may you have a blessed fast and may you draw closer to God as this is the true goal of fasting.

Sooo... like I said earlier... it is time to dance!

There is no way that you can listen to this song and not move it... if you are driving - well, hopefully you are not viewing this post - however, if you are... dance in your seat... who cares if the car next to you thinks you are nutz! I do it all the time =)

Can you believe it?
I finally gave in... yes, I did... I could not believe it myself... however, necessity is the mother of invention & how, oh, how could I start to invent such greatness if I did not adapt and take it up a notch...
Yes, I am talking about my newest acquisition... a MacBook Pro!
I bought it a few weeks ago and have hard a time crossing over or even trying to figure her out... yes, my Mac is a she :)
Many know me as being an Android lover and I have no intention of crossing over to an iPhone - do not like them - maybe it is because I do not know how to appreciate one - does not matter - Not Interested!
My Macbook was bought for business purposes... let me make sure that I use her - she was an expensive write off... lol
I will say that the dear Mac person that sold me this baby was so patient, informative and helpful that I will recommend him time and time again! So... if you are like me and in search of a Mac - let me know, I will pass you the info...
For now, I am onto new pastures... discovering and learning what this machine can do... too bad it cannot bring world Peace!

#WedWords: Vapid: lacking or having lost life… flavorless!
So, I was watching The Bachelor the other night and this word kept on getting thrown around by Emily in regards to Courtney… it was quite funny – I have used this word once before and had not heard it again until Monday night…
To be quite honest – I think Boring Ben is quite vapid – he is so dry – he must be my least favorite bachelor to date… he definitely is lacking flavor – Courtney on the other hand is just downright Crazy & Manipulative – not really vapid – to be quite honest – she is quite lively! I am only continuing to watch this show because I embarrassingly admit that I enjoy the ‘lady’ drama… not the crying – just the back and forth…
So, there’s your word for the day or even week! Go ahead and think of people or situations that bring the word vapid to mind!
