Today, I visited one of my fav places for lunch… I will not mention, however, it happens to be a salad bar express… anyways, while I was there – I ordered the usual and was told that I could not have it – when I asked for more of a certain ‘green’ I was denied… when I inquired further, he retorted: “No, I cannot”
Aghhh… terrible customer service and I all I could think of was: rassen frassen (grumble, grumble) only was I kept my cool…

It is that time! #ThrowbackTuesdays time! I wanna go back, waaay back to when I was dancing my heart away wearing my blue mascara and my funky Alternative hair styles… we go back to those fantastic Freestyle days… I can still sing the songs today… the lyrics are ingrained in me…

Happy as a Clam! Are clams really happy? I read that open clams give the appearance of smiling and that is why the saying came about. Either way, I am happy – my belly is happy, my taste buds are happy!
Today, I broke my fast… Well, it finished – I should more clear. I was on a 21 day fast off of all sugars, meat, wine, coffee, anything processed.
This morning, I enjoyed my first cup of coffee – it was fantastique!
Below is me relishing in my Nutella filled crepe! So Yummm! Tonight, I will go w my babes and enjoy some Red Velvet Cheesecake & then swear off the sweets again – summer is knocking on our door… Wine will still be on the list!

Today is a special throwback… I was so busy yesterday that I forgot, I guess it was meant to be posted today ----
While I realize that this is not quite a throwback being two years old, however, today my heart needs lifting… it is ebbing and flowing between sadness and joy… I want to focus on how Great my Lord is & how I know that my dad is okay because he is the hands of our loving Father…
In memory of my dad on this sixth month anniversary of his passing – I focus on my Lord to get me through this painful time…

I say do not let defeat have the last word! That is what being tenacious is all about!

For me, I would have to say that it has to do with health… when I am working on me – I am full force – no holds barred… =)

Guess what?! I made it! My fast is lovingly over tomorrow… I get to enjoy my coffee once again & the occasional sweet! Sooo… you know what that means – Nutella filled crêpe time! Yay!
For those of you who fast… then you would understand that it is not an entirely easy feat…
I am happy that I was able to quiet my desires for a while in order to listen to what my Lord wanted to impress on my heart…
