I wanted to share a little bit of our experience with you while we were visiting Puerto Rico last week… below is just a lil bite of our adventure…
Sooo Glad that we toured the Bio Bay! It is an experience like none other... I was with a group and we took the last night tour - the Owner, Mike was very thorough and informative... it seems like a lot at first, however, you will appreciate it when you are in the lagoon... Puerto Rico (Fajardo area) offers the ONLY lagoon access in the world & let me tell you - I would have it no other way... We joked that this was a team building, marriage workshop event :) ~~~ communication is key! lol ~~ Paddling thru the Mangrove trees to the open bay was sooo, Wow! As you paddle you light up the water & see all the beautiful 'blue' shrimp, fish, and stingrays go by... The luminescence is caused by micro-organisms (dinoflagellates) which glow whenever the water is disturbed, leaving a trail of neon blue. As a matter fact, some shrimp managed to end up in our kayak - such fun! What a wonderful way to experience God's beauty! If you are visiting Puerto Rico, please make sure to see Mike @ Enchanted Island Tours - you will not be sorry... professionalism and his service are Tops! Just wanted to give a thank to you Victor & Jorge who pulled our people all thru the bay - without you guys - whew! it would have been quite difficult!
